Arrival & parking
Many roads lead to the Zimmerbräu - we are quite easy to find!
Plan your route, because a comfortable journey to Lake Wolfgang is the key to a great start of your vacation.
From 3 pm we guarantee you a free parking spot in the outdoor area opposite our hotel.
Check-in from 3 pm to 8 pm
If you arrive earlier (i.e. before 3 pm), please park at the public parking lot P3 at the entrance of St. Wolfgang first and enjoy perfect views
of the Lake Wolfgang from the comfortable sunbeds.
If you arrive later, please inform us by phone so that we can activate the key box with code for you.
On the day of arrival you can move into the room from 3 pm, on the day of departure we will ask you to leave the room until 11 am.
Whether by car, train or plane - we are looking forward to our guests!
Arrival by car:
The best way to reach our Hotel Zimmerbräu is via the Westautobahn, take the Mondsee exit. The federal road B154 leads you to St. Gilgen. There, at the traffic circle, follow the B158 in the direction of Bad Ischl until you reach Strobl. Take the exit in the direction of St. Wolfgang (opposite the Eni gas station) - and you are already on the St. Wolfganger Landesstraße, which will take you to the entrance to St. Wolfgang after 5 km (turn left into the center before the bypass tunnel!). Now follow the road into the center through the pedestrian zone, you will find our hotel on the left side. After you have unloaded your suitcases, done the check-in, park your car about 350m away in the hotel garage (height 2.10 m, for a fee) or on the roof of the hotel garage (no fee).
Arrival by plane:
The Hotel Zimmerbräu is located directly on the border between Salzburg Land and upper Austria. Salzburg airport is only 62 km away, Munich airport about 230 km. We are happy to arrange a pick-up service for you from both airports, just ask us. We will also inform you about the prices.
Arrival by train:
The nearest train station is in Bad Ischl in the Salzkammergut, only 15 km from our hotel Zimmerbräu. Enjoy the most comfortable way to travel and start relaxed in your well-deserved time out. We are also happy to organize a transfer for you from there (approx. 38.- for up to 4 people).
